I didn't hear the album,CANNONBALL' S BOSSA NOVA till it was reissued years later on Capitol,but I liked it immediately and was surprised not only by the pairing and, although no stranger to Latin rhythms,Cannonball never went back to the Brasilian well with such intensity.
